Jace and Mommy - I can only imagine that Eric was attached to his mom - much as Jace is to me all the time. You would think by now that he'd be fine with me dropping him off at school. Everyday it's cling to mommy - half way down the hall. By the time we get there he is hugging my arm and trying to convince me to stay for his morning work. I do miss my lil' buddy when I go shopping - I do save quite a bit more $ than when I used to take him with me.

This was everyone who was home for Christmas this year. It was fun and a little crazy at times. It was so good to get the neices and nephews together to have some good play time. We love being back in Georgia and being able to spend the holidays together... finally.

I know it's been a long time since I have posted on my blog. Things have been very crazy since - oh beginning of November. Eric has inventory in November and the holidays are very crazy at his work as well. I know.... retail! Right about a week before Christmas I took of to my moms house. It's only a two and a half hour drive from where we live now. While I was gone Eric worked the whole time. He'd go into work around 5 or 6AM and come home around 8 PM. I love being a single mom during the holidays. It was nice to have somewhere to escape to - I've never had family that close! January is still pretty busy.... I think that things have started to slow down now.

Anyways - I thought I would post some new pics. We had a movie night tonight - I went out and bought Starburst and Skittles. Two of my favorite treats. I used to love chocolate - I think that I am just getting bored with it now..... Anyways back to my story. Jace comes over and sits beside me tonight, he had just gotton a handful of starburst - I say to him..."You didn't grab any red or pink starburst, those are mommys favorites" and he says back without even thinking "you get what you get and don't pitch a fit" Now How funny is that? I guess I should complain huh?

Kenny, Preston and Jace are all excited that I bought a lamp for our turtles.... They love the new rock that I also added today. We've had our turtles for 8 months now. They are definately the most perfect pet. We change their water ever month and feed them whenever. My kind of pet! Jace is really hoping that we can add a hermit crab to our family soon. We'll see.

It's winter..? Loving the warm weather

We love the warm weather down here - The boys still occasionally wear shorts outside. It's been so long since we've actually enjoyed these months. The boys were outside and I thought that I would torture them by making them pose for a few cute pictures. I think that I got one that it a really good one.

Meatloaf

Too funny... Preston said the prayer for dinner tonight and he says..... Thank you for mommy and daddy for making dinner. I am so glad it's meatloaf because I really like it. Eric just look at each other and smile.

If you have never had Eric's meatloaf - you are missing out. It's so good. Not a lot of left overs tonight. Yum.

Busy and trying to not pull my hair out!

I have been very busy lately. I don't know if it has just been overwhelming being a mom or what.

On my last post I talked about my new hobby - couponing. It's been fun chasing down the sales - I live really close to all the stores that have the good sales. This week I got shampoo for free, and razors & body wash for a super low price. Did you know you can load coupons onto your "loyality card" ? I had no idea. I can't wait for Monday - when new coupons come out. I've got a huge stockpile of all the bathroom stuff - now I need more food. It should be a fun shopping week.

I will be glad after this next week is over - Eric has inventory and will be done on Thursday. I will be so glad when it's over.

Halloween was a lot of fun. The boys were all some one from STAR WARS. I didn't even watch the movie until about a year ago. Eric recently bought a star wars game for his XBOX and the boys want to play it all the time. I think that is what made them want to be dudes from Star Wars. We went on the 24th up to Atlanta to visit my family and we went to a trunk or treat. It was fun and fast. We did go door to door on Halloween. There was hardly anyone passing out teats this year. It was tiring walking all around the neighborhood. How did we do that when we were kids? Next year I think that we are just going to do the trunk or treats and that is it. I'm no party pooper but the kids kept complaining..... I can't believe it. I mean hello they were giving out free candy. Anywways - I better go - I could write forever. I'll post pictures soon..

I am a coupon freak

Ok - I watched Oprah last week - there was this show on there about this lady that slashes her grocery bill in half and gets tons of free stuff by getting 3-4 Sunday papers a week and clipping the coupons.... I have gotton so mich stuff for free this week just from clipping last week and this week. You guys should go check out this web site and try it.
